The biggest element discussed this year was the unveiling of Knight's new, reduced pricing structure for posterior restorations. One of our goals during our 2010 planning meeting was to find new ways to reduce our internal costs in order to pass savings on to our clients, who have certainly felt the economic pinch as everyone has. Through diligent effort over the last 12 months, and integration of the iDAPA system, we have been able to reduce manufacturing expenses and are set to pass those tremendous savings on to you.
iDAPA is a system of complex rules integrating technology, automation, quality systems and material science. iDAPA has helped Knight to reduce our production, labor and material costs while also reducing waste which has made us more efficient. We are now better utilizing new tools, automating many of our processes and improving both quality systems and lean principles in order to reduce our overhead expenses.
As a result of our reduced costs, we are excited to announce that we are able to reduce the pricing of our posterior restorations. This new pricing structure will roll out on November 1, 2011, as well as simplified product selections. We believe you will see remarkable savings, as well as quality improvement through these new systems. It's another reason why nothing compares to Knight.
As the first US laboratory to utilize the iDAPA system, we also welcome the opportunity to share more with you about how it works - you can learn more at www.idapa.org or contact a member of our Sales Team at (800) 359-2043.
There were many exciting things planned during this year's strategic planning meeting. We will have more to share with you in next month's issue of our e-mail newsletter, including new restorations that will make your job easier!
Thanks for your support of our past, and for being a part of our future!
